Voices of Our Youth is an unstoppable, empowerment nonprofit that builds character and resilience within the communities we serve. We believe in investing in our community, instructing them on how to do better and be better, and inspiring them to create change while igniting their passion to help one another.
Voices of Our Youth focuses on addressing community issues like child abuse, bullying, suicide, human trafficking, gang violence, mental health, homelessness, hunger, and substance use disorders through the universal language of arts and entertainment. To make a difference, we must be different from other organizations, which means thinking outside the box.
Our organization has grown and developed its core beliefs of helping people and giving back. We do this through creativity, compassion, and understanding. We believe in building relationships that allow us to get to the root of the issues. We work toward a single purpose: making change within our community. We believe that no one organization can do it all, so we believe in collaborating with other like-minded organizations. Alone we can make a difference, but together we can change lives.
The one thing that's always stayed the same is our dedication to the bigger picture which will always drive us to strive for more. The unwavering dedication of our founders has helped our mission come to life. The words may have changed but the message has always been to empower others for the betterment of our community. Each year has been an opportunity for us to expand and rebrand our programs and services to meet the community’s needs.
We wouldn’t be who we are today without the assistance and support of those individuals who back us through encouragement, collaboration, and help to champion our mission.
